The standard Java graphics library does not contain a drawPixel method, but there are plenty of ways to render graphics at the pixel level in Java. In this ShowMeDo John makes use of a BufferedImage so that an array of integers can be used as pixels for rendering on screen.

Thanks John for your screencasts on Java graphics. My master's degree project in Computer Science is on Rubik's Cube and Java seems to have way more than I need for displaying and editing cube graphics. I enjoyed your screencasts for their visual clarity, and your style of speaking and coding. They are very inspiring.
By the way, are those real seagulls I heard in the background from time to time, or was that a television, or just something odd going on with the audio compression?
great set of videos
sir, The video related to applets are really nice,i would also want you to teach us some of the fundamentals related to threading and exceptions.
i also want to know how to remember all these classes.coz its really hard to keep track of all these inbuilt classes.

Mr.Montgomery,
This is a great great tutorial!!! I am new in Java & I am learning a lot...the best I have seen so far on the web. Video tutorials are really really usuful... much faster than reading a tone of pages on a book. Please continue like this, I am looking forward to continue my "online" Java classes and watch the next video. I wish I could help Mr. Montgomery soon with some Java video from my part... great job and thank you!!
Regards
Francisco
