For some one new to Java I don't know what CVS is or what it does.
Maybe next time show more examples on what you can do with it, and why you would want it.

Very good, thank you. Can you do one for Subversion? Also really great to see it done on a Mac for a change...:-) Be good to see one on the gotcha's of developing with with Eclipse on a Mac, thanks.
'somewhere' - can you explain which file you are talking about? If you have used the 'DOWNLOAD THE VIDEO(FLV)' link to download the video file then for this page it is 8.5mb.
FLV files are played by most modern video players including mplayer, Video Lan Client and QuickTime.

You can directly the whole CVSROOT in the "host" field. Eclipse knows how to split it.
