Thanks a ton. I enjoyed watching it!!
Thanks for the video!
I like the scren cast a lot. In my experience I ran into the "can't open DB error" that showed up at the end of your cast. Would love to solve that. Overall. Great. Thanks
Thanks guys, very informative. Still researching and developing a plan and the introduction to mythtv was very beneficial.
Have a great day.
Instead of showing how to install Ubuntu, it should show how to make a *working* Mythbuntu.
Very informative! Good job! Great to have an actual walkthrough before trying to set this up. Thanks guys!!
Good show.

Enjoy your audio and videocasts as they are released.
I've been running mythtv for the past few years, but there always something new to learn... I ws wondering if you could do something about setting up custom recordings etc.. I think people might that of interest... well peace for now.. and happy holidays..
Very nice.
But i miss a little about deferent capture card and mythfill database.
Good intro
Brill video.
Great screencast . Would have loved to see it done on a real box but I'm sure that would have presented some additional challenges. I am not new to mythtv but i would have been thrilled to have had this 3 years ago when mythtv was really taking off. oh well. I am going to watch your QAM screencast and then the downloadable podcasts. Keep up the great work
Thanks for taking the time to make the video. I really did not know what MythTV may do for me, but I do have spare HW and have been interested in Ubuntu. This video motivated me to try it out. Thanks again.

Agreed that it's a waste of time. What's the point of an install tutorial done on a VM with no actual working hardware? If you just want to show people the screens they will be using, use a screenshot.
Thank You so much for all the info on the web for setting up this great program. I am new to the ubuntu and mythbuntu formats, but have read and still am reading on everything they have to offer. I have got a mythtv box setup and for the most part works as far as the video portion of it, but the sound, is of everyone talking as if they were on helium, or related to the chipmunks.. I am sure it is a setting that I have to change but at this time am unsure what it is. Thank You again for all your work on this project, as when I do get it working it will be great.

Very good, it helped a lot I will view it again. Thank You.....
This screen cast was a complete waste of time! Two guys yapping for 40 minutes with zero results. The installation failed because they used a virtual machine with no capture card, etc.
awesome show.
During the install of mythbuntu I noticed the VNC service was greyed out... is that because it is set to run or because it's not allowed?
mythbuntu
Enjoyed the video. The only thing which I would have liked to have seen was a full blown setup with full configuration.
Well done but I would like to see an actual working setup
Great stuff! I just love these specialized 'buntu distros. And had heard of Mythbuntu from a friend putting together a PVR set-up. Just gotta find some time to watch TV, but as ever it's truly impressive to see open-source branching out into these areas. Sorry for the publishing delay - hectic times. Thanks and welcome to showmedo.
