Nice informative video.
great way of teaching!!!
thanks a lot!!!
This looks very promising for the first time in the learning of C++ I have struggled for years with it and programming for that matter. Thank you for doing this, it looks like there is still hope, at times I just stop trying and go back to C++ a year later ;)
Great Video!!! It's easy to understnd!! Thanx!!!
This is a very simple to understand method to teach a complex subject or concept. Excellent approach by using simple words and examples the a user can related to something in real life.
Thanks for a job great done!
Looks interesting. I'll have to go through a little more so that I can sign up. Good effort. :)
it's been a great help to me
nice one, this video is totally different from other videos .
Very easy to understand, this first video!
Thank you
Good job, I will watch more
excellent introduction
clear.
Thank you very much!
I recently started out with C programming in school and tried to "bring the work home"..
It suddenly became a lot harder without a teacher, not only because he tells me what to do and what i'm doing wrong but also as a motivator.
You are an excellent replacor my friend! Ever thought of picking up teaching? This stuff is superbly pedagogic
It's good to have a spoon feed like this because reading books is simply too time consuming for me. The only drawback I see is the video is not very clear. If we could have a higher resolution, it'd be great.
Excellent intro for newbies!! :)
i am a noob i am trying to learn everything i can about the c++ language and i am hoping this site will help with all of that

I took C++ in the college and worked in IT. Know that I am laid off, I am back to programming. This time I am serious about it. I ned to learn C++ and I will with your help.
So far so good but this is only video number one so time will tell. Thanks in advance for all of your time and effort.
I found this while looking for something else.
Excellent video I think these are going to change my life!
Thank you!
i m very poor in c/c++ plzz help me
good first video thanks
Great video series. I learned C and C++ in college, so I'm highly critical of this kind of instructional material. I've been look for something like this to share with others who would interested in learning. I've watched the first ~30 videos so far and am very pleased with it. The concepts are presented far too slow to really engage me, so I have them on in the back ground while I work (as a programmer). I have cURL'ed down all 45 of them (1G+) to burn to disk to share.
In the future I'd love to recreate these myself, but with a "C programming for the PHP hacker" slant. There are so many PHP hacks out there now that I think it would be a great angle of approach. Assuming that the viewer had a grasp of basic concepts (like: for, while, variable scope, etc.) should allow me to teach the material in half the time.
Major Kudos to you for taking on the task of bootstrapping the complete newb. I don't think I would have the patients to do so, or even have the imagination to know what the newb doesn't already know. Great work!
its very elpful to learn

Congratulations for your job here. I do appreciate it
Haven't seen one yet, you won't let me start
Great idea and thanks for sharing and spending your time and efforts producing a pretty good tutorial on C++. Haven't seen anything other than the tutorial 1, but if it is indicative of the quality of the others, I'm I and others will get a lot out of it.
Excellent video, it was very easy to understand and it was a good introduction to what a program is and the basics of a computer language

so far so good
so far so good
Very interesting, must have more!
These videos are amazing and of a great benefit to me...
keep on :)
Beginner.
You are correct! It is easier to begin to understand Some of the concepts in C++ by visual means. After seeing other videos I began to grasp some of the concepts. The reason would seem to be it is as if you are in a classroom. When you hear the instructor explain the meaning behind a Processs. You will understand that prtocess morethan if you read it in a book. But After I learn enough I will go back to the books for more.So that I can understand finally.I have 4 or 5 books reading did not much good when the concepts are obscured by programming language onlky an advanced person will know. You cannot become advanced until you learn the basic concepts.NewbyOne
Great introduction.
I was thinking of discontinuing my pursuit in
c++ and/or computer science but your

Great start. The movement among the windows seemed a little "busy", but a great start. I can't wait to watch more of these screen casts.
Video Tutorials format is the best form to learn. Its great to put this together. Let me view more lessons to comment on the quality.

Thanks for sharing your videos. This one is very good and has peeked my interest in the possibility of me finally learning c++.
I have just started . Thank you so much for making your knowledge available.
Can the resolution be improved. May be if you use WebEx recorder ( free ) and advise the users use webex player, it might give a near perfect image of your desktop. It's too early to make any comment now. The above is my 2 cents. Thank you so much again.
so far so good
c and c++
loving your vids wanting to learn c++ for a long time but really cant afford the cds thanks a lot
if you can do java that would be really nice as well

Very clear and concise! All in all, perfect 8 min. intro, great job!
very good tutorial, thanks a lot!
Thanks for the intro - maybe you could make your language a little more inclusive by using generic references that are not gender based - like giving an assistant or a child instructions rather than a cleaning lady, and referring to people rather than guys - it is important to give all newbies confidence and not make them feel stereotyped. I appreciate the effort and intent that you have put into the video, and only offer this suggestion as a possible improvement.
lovely vid, very patiently explained, clear voice, excellent screen. Thank you!

Thank You Very Much!!

Thanks for a nice beginning.
Hello. I just watched the first Noob spoonfed c++ video. Thank you. It looks like what I need. Great work.
Thanks for listening to my suggestion of posting your videos here. Two thumbs up.
Great video! I love to learn something new everyday, and this by far is a great head-start on my daily learning!
Strong start - and some big claims! I do like having some good books to hand --will recommend some C++ ones as your series progresses-- but screencasting does offer a fantastic opportunity for newbies to be lead gently through the strange foreign land. It's great to see someone taking such a comprehensive approach. Will follow with interest.
