Hi Dai - just set up a shared folder in virtual box. You sir are fantastic. Thank you!

i will try this & get back to you...this video also very helpful

I wached yours videos about setting up virtual box shared folder. It's exelent! Quick, easy to uderstand... You've got an A from me. :)

I don't know how to access mass storage from my virtual OS. I have Linux Mint 9 as host OS, and XP as virtual OS. If you've made a video about that I would be thankful if you send me the link.

This is the opposite of what i want to do but I'm glad i watched it for when I make the move over to #!

GREAT tut

thank you :)

Very easy to follow, and worked like a charm...Thanks, Dai!

Useful! Ideally you would provide an additional video with each successive release of Ubuntu, so that newbies are not put-off by things looking different from their own system

Congratulations and thank you. Great tutorials

vids 1 & 2 for virtualbox shared folders were quite helpful. Thank you. Sometimes the simplest answers can be hard to find in the sea of information on the internet. I'm so lucky vids 1 & 2 were on the first page of the google results. Just what I needed. (I'm using OpenSuse Linux host, WinXP guest.)

Educating the Open-source Community With Showmedo

Although as important as the software it supports, education and documentation are relatively neglected in the Open-source world. Coders love to code, and explaining how best to use or improve the software tends to be deferred or even sidelined.

At Showmedo we believe the community can play a vital role here and also say thanks for the tools and software that make our lives easier. If you have a piece of software you love or a programming langugage you are enthusiastic about, why not make a screencast showing others how to use it? All the stuff you wish you'd been told, the tips, tricks, insights that would have saved you time and frustration.

Screencasting is easier than you think, and we're happy to help you. You can emailus for advice or just use some of the how-to screencasts on the site. This screencasting learning-pathis a good place to start.

Kudos and Thanks for Dai
