Thanks so much for this video series. And to previous poster, if you coined 'tute' as shorthand for tutorial, please don't ever post on the internet again. Thank you

This is so helpful. Thank you.

Thanks for a great screen cast, Eric. I'm new to django and ubuntu, and I certainly learned a lot. You mentioned a 14th screencast is coming, and I hope to see it soon.

Excellent tutorials!!!!

Thanx for the videos, It will make my life easier to learn django

I'm sure I'm the millionth person to say this, but these are wonderful podcasts and EXTREMELY useful for a relative noob who's trying to learn best practices, especially in terms of deployment. One suggestion: this podcast assumes you already have git installed, though if you're starting with a fresh ubuntu install, that's clearly not the case. Might want to throw in a heads up for other beginners so they know they need to "sudo apt-get install git-clone" and do a git init/add/commit to "git" up to speed. (apologies if this was covered in an earlier podcast -- I skipped around!). Cheers !

Nice. Really great for web dev beginner like me.

The ShowMeDo Robot says - this video is now published, thanks for adding to ShowMeDo.

Educating the Open-source Community With Showmedo

Although as important as the software it supports, education and documentation are relatively neglected in the Open-source world. Coders love to code, and explaining how best to use or improve the software tends to be deferred or even sidelined.

At Showmedo we believe the community can play a vital role here and also say thanks for the tools and software that make our lives easier. If you have a piece of software you love or a programming langugage you are enthusiastic about, why not make a screencast showing others how to use it? All the stuff you wish you'd been told, the tips, tricks, insights that would have saved you time and frustration.

Screencasting is easier than you think, and we're happy to help you. You can emailus for advice or just use some of the how-to screencasts on the site. This screencasting learning-pathis a good place to start.

Kudos and Thanks for ericflo
