Helpful; gets to the nitty-gritty of the procedure.

Thanks

NB. The audio is very low - have to crank it up to full volume to get comfortable listening - then have to make sure volume is turned down before hearing other audio.

Very useful info. Thanks for taking the time to make it so clear

RE: Printing Envelopes

I am making the change over from MS Word 2003 to OOo Writer. One envelope-printing feature I can't find in Writer is ability to add U.S. postal bar codes to the envelope. Here in the States, adding this barcode (above the addressee's name) can cut a day or two off of a coast-to-coast first-class letter. I haven't found the equivlalent feature in Writer. Is it there? If so, could you enhance this video to show it? Thanks!

A good, clear tutorial as usual but the sound is a bit odd on this one. It is still understandable but slightly echoing with some background noise and the volume waxes and wanes somewhat.

Educating the Open-source Community With Showmedo

Although as important as the software it supports, education and documentation are relatively neglected in the Open-source world. Coders love to code, and explaining how best to use or improve the software tends to be deferred or even sidelined.

At Showmedo we believe the community can play a vital role here and also say thanks for the tools and software that make our lives easier. If you have a piece of software you love or a programming langugage you are enthusiastic about, why not make a screencast showing others how to use it? All the stuff you wish you'd been told, the tips, tricks, insights that would have saved you time and frustration.

Screencasting is easier than you think, and we're happy to help you. You can emailus for advice or just use some of the how-to screencasts on the site. This screencasting learning-pathis a good place to start.

Kudos and Thanks for Dai
