Holy crap! Wow! Now I have to watch it in slow motion and take notes. Need cheat sheets of the dozens of built-in functions.

That's great!

I like your screencast, and I think I started to like TG.

Any feature recommendation?

Really interesting TG video. I would like to see TG video with Mako templating for a similar application.

Wow. Makes me wanna start learning Python.

As a c# developer a real candidate for developing a new web project is ASP.NET MVC.

I really have to re-evaluate this...

That is mind blowing.

Far to fast for me to duplicate from that , but convincing that I need to look closer.

Thanks. Really inspiring.

It's an amazing demo, even though it was a bit rushed. I'm impressed with Kevin's typing speed.

I would like to see this video updated for Turbogears 2.0 and I'd like to see a little more information about how the model/data gets updated/saved by the call = ???

I think there's just a wee bit to much "magic" going on in that test and having it explained to some slowpokes like me might help ALOT.

13. anonymous Mon, 18 May 2009 08:48

That was a very good and informative one, thanks

Educating the Open-source Community With Showmedo

Although as important as the software it supports, education and documentation are relatively neglected in the Open-source world. Coders love to code, and explaining how best to use or improve the software tends to be deferred or even sidelined.

At Showmedo we believe the community can play a vital role here and also say thanks for the tools and software that make our lives easier. If you have a piece of software you love or a programming langugage you are enthusiastic about, why not make a screencast showing others how to use it? All the stuff you wish you'd been told, the tips, tricks, insights that would have saved you time and frustration.

Screencasting is easier than you think, and we're happy to help you. You can emailus for advice or just use some of the how-to screencasts on the site. This screencasting learning-pathis a good place to start.

Kudos and Thanks for Kevin
