Love the series. I am interested in seeing the steps writing a fairly substantial project takes. Thank You for your efforts!

I love the concept and the high quality of the author's work!

Alas, I do not use Microsoft products, and I want to work in Linux, so I was disappointed by the "installing OpenGL" video, which is for Windows.

Or maybe I just didn't watch the video all the way through? Maybe the video covers Linux later? There's no mention of that, and if I watch the video all the way through, hoping for some Love for Linux, and I never get any, I'll be even more disappointed.

I ac see that this was a labor of love. I simply love the way you present this video. You do not pretend to be a GL expert and go through details to make is simple to understand for a beginner. You are not trying to show how good you are but to make the subject easy to understand.

I would also like to thank you for introducing Launchpad and Bazaar, I am planing to use them for my future projects. Keep up this vrelly good work.

Review of Preparing to Use the GPL & Using a Batch File with Bazaar

Erik shows how to customize the GPL license for his project. He write a bat file to upload files to Bazaar.

Thanks anon, the video order has now been corrected.

Educating the Open-source Community With Showmedo

Although as important as the software it supports, education and documentation are relatively neglected in the Open-source world. Coders love to code, and explaining how best to use or improve the software tends to be deferred or even sidelined.

At Showmedo we believe the community can play a vital role here and also say thanks for the tools and software that make our lives easier. If you have a piece of software you love or a programming langugage you are enthusiastic about, why not make a screencast showing others how to use it? All the stuff you wish you'd been told, the tips, tricks, insights that would have saved you time and frustration.

Screencasting is easier than you think, and we're happy to help you. You can emailus for advice or just use some of the how-to screencasts on the site. This screencasting learning-pathis a good place to start.

Kudos and Thanks for Erik
