I am new to open office.

Currently I use MSOffice, MSWorks and Wordperfect lightning for various edit work.

I have documents sent to me in various formats. So, it is important that I can open and adjust each one.

I am hoping that OpenOffice will be an easier interface for me once I learn its capabilities.

OpenOffice Impress: greeting card, part 1 of 2 (Chinese)

I think this is fabulous. It is just what I need as I do have to learn how to do a presentation and there seems to be some good info here. Even though I don't speak Chinese, this is certainly understandable with the direct screen info and the video showing Lijia manipulating and marking the page to make a greeting card. Great - Thanks!

Ubuntu: Making a .deb package out of a python program (English)

Excellent tutorial, although abit too verbose and detailed for people experienced with Linux. I would expect most people interested in making packages would at least have experience with terminal commands! But that's just a minor point.
