From episdoe 3 of the MythTVCast. The guys go through correctly setting up a QAM TV capture card in the tv channel listing in MythTV. Getting the correct XMLID channel frequency from Schedules Direct and applying them to the channel table via the MythWeb plugin.

Thx for the screencast, I'll give it a try this eve. Hopefully I'll be able to resolve my frequency out of range issues on my pcHDTV HD-3000 DVB.

The volume was to low for me to hear without putting on headphones with volume control switch. When I did get to a level where I could understand the voices there was a lot of background hiss.

I like the scren cast a lot. In my experience I ran into the "can't open DB error" that showed up at the end of your cast. Would love to solve that. Overall. Great. Thanks

Great screencast . Would have loved to see it done on a real box but I'm sure that would have presented some additional challenges. I am not new to mythtv but i would have been thrilled to have had this 3 years ago when mythtv was really taking off. oh well. I am going to watch your QAM screencast and then the downloadable podcasts. Keep up the great work
