This was awesome. It gave me the information I needed.
Thanks for this tutorial. I did not realize one could use wget like that. I found that quite helpful as I use putty from my windows laptop to program on my Ubuntu desktop over a wireless network. The standard vim colour scheme is too colourfull for me and i did not know how to change it. This tutorial was perfect!
cool. I settled on desert, after a lot of fun trying out various schemes. One of the true joys of Vim lies in personalizing ones setup.
