but still i can't chating with pidgin.
i've been able create an account with my gmail.
but why my buddy list is still empty, actually in my gmail i have some friends.
can i use pidgin to chat with other people in mirc 4 example.
how can i join a chat room. i still don't understand which conference server that i must use.

I'm glad to hear that you liked the video. As for your request: I can't promise anything right now but I'll add it to my todo list.
I recorded the screencast inside a Virtual Machine that contained an installed copy of Ubuntu.

if you do a follow-up video, please show how to use pidgin as an irc client (i am always to shy to try it and use xchat instead).
Technical question: Did you recorded from a ubuntu live-cd ? how ?
great app, too bad I only use MSN and my ICQ contacts seem dead already
