Its Great....very helpful but the more the better

Thanks, that was helpful, hope to see more of your tutorials. Also, if you could go a little more in-detail on Tkinters keywords, that would be helpful too. Thanks again!

Thanks for the video. I would love to see more about in-depth event handling. Specifically, how to queue up and handle events without gettting stuck in the mainloop.

This was a great help. thanks very much.

What is your recommended reading list for Tkinter?

Well done. Can't wait for part 3. no next-one-soon yet.

I like your tutorials. I am completely new to python and Tkinter. Could you please explain in more detail, the difference between self and master in

__init__(self, master) ?

Thank you.

This is just what I'm after. I wouldn't change it. But extra to this would be good to see a tutorial on how you find out the stuff yourself if there isn't a tutorial. Why would you know to use pack? How do you know to use Label? etc. A tutorial to show you how to work out how to do this stuff if the first tutorial didn't exist! :) I guess you start with Tk() and then drill down but what is the best way to do that for a newbie who just wants a masked entry field for example?

nick job! This is very good start for me.

I'm planning to use TKinter myself to do some simple GUI work (it looks much lighter-weight than wxPython) and I'll be using Shawn's videos as my first guide too :-)

Ian

I try to learn Python and Tkinter to develop an interface linked to a fortran program, using buttons, edits and texts.

Your two examples are usefull for me.

I am trying to learn Tkinter myself. Your two videos helped a great deal. If you have the time, I'd appreciate more videos on this subject.

Thanks.

Nice tutorial. Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to the next one.
