Working my way through these. Looking forward to what's to come as I read about Ruby's background on Wikipedia.

Trying to eventually determine whether Ruby or Python is better as a database API for large sets of financial data.

Will also hunt around for any robust interpreters that may exist.

Thanks so much for these videos. I'm a bit of a dabbler / beginner, but still require ad-hoc programming to assist clients with problems at work, sometimes in completely new languages, so a complete from scratch tutorial like this is extremely valuable to all.

- Trotz der durch die Verfasser geäußerten Zweifel am Gebrauch der deutschen

Sprache: Zwar wird der Kreis der Klienten kleiner, jedoch verstehen die

dann auch mehr. Besser gutes Deutsch als kümmerliches Englisch. Und nicht

jeder der glaubt er könne es, spricht letzteres wirklich ausreichend.

Very nice that you made this, but I found it a bit difficult to follow. It would be nicer if it was a bit more structured. For example, having the video broken up into sections which are introduced with a title page - i.e. "Installing Enigmail" - "Creating A Private Key" - etc.

let me start by saying thank you for the free educational video. I have been a Windows user since 95. I had an accident and became crippled in 2005 and since then I have been recovering and looking for a new line of work. It's becoming apparent to me that in order to learn to program and use an operating system other than Windows you need to study the history of where computer started so you know where to dive in and begin learning how to program. Videos like the one I just watched our helpful and encouraging particularly since I have a long way to go. Thanks so much
