Hello, I found your video searching google with openOffice

pie chart. I hadn't expected to find that it was created with calc, rather I thought with presentation. But it looks good.

I wanted to make a pie chart instead of a bar graph on Europe installed wind power.

Your tutorial is VERY good on selecting colours but a little thin on putting the data into the pie..

Even so I liked it.

Just like to say..."Job well done!" Stated your objective, broke it all down into simple tasks that was very easy to follow. Liked the video sidebar of the students. Very entertaining and informative! JLH

I have not yet worked out what this video is about.

If I watch it again I might work it out.

Two issues: (i)The video streaming seems to be very poor. I am on a reasonable ADSL service and don't have issues here normally. The decision to show Joanna drives up the bitstream raite that your tutorial needs to play in real time. (ii) You speaker needs a script which both rehearse and then the speaker needs to still to it. No more "ummm"s and "errr"s.

Not bad, yet before recording do at least a plan. Saying "okay, ummm, now we can see what Johanna is doing" is perfectly wrong! It should be "Johanna will put a round diagram to/on her sleep data". Also a nice touch would be why does Johanna want to do that. It would look way more professional.

I rate the content as "good"(4/5) yet the speech is a minor drawback with 2 out of 5 points.

Hi Horst, Sherina, Johanna and Birgit - welcome to you all, it is great to have this English-language video here.

I look forward to seeing more OpenOffice tutorials - I have started to use OpenOffice now on my Ubuntu system, it is nice to see how other people use it so I can learn new skills.

Cheers from Brighton (UK)!

Ian
