Weiter so, Hackernachwuchs!

It's awesome to see them learning Python at such a young age.

And the credit goes to the Teacher.

I really appreciate your effort.

Making videos in English would help spread message more

effectively.

Thank you for the videos

Subtitles: I used various programs that i found in the Ubuntu-sources. I think i ended with "Subtitle-Editor". I think i wrote some links in the showmedo wiki about how to make subtitle. The messy part was to use mplayer to render the subtitle in the video.

14. anonymous Mon, 26 Mar 2007 02:59

Very nice tutorials, i notice you've recorded them with Xvidcap but what program did you use to add the subtitles to the movies?

Thanks a lot

Hi Lexi,

Tennessee from "The Python Papers" here. Great video.

I never knew how to do that...

We are currently preparing an article for our online magazine "The Python Papers" (http://pythonpapers.org). We will mentioning your video along with those of your classmates.

I hope you get a lot of positive feedback,

Cheers,

Tennessee

Coole Sache,

Great Video!

8. anonymous Sun, 04 Mar 2007 13:37

Hello, I'm a python programmer too.

If easygui uses GtkLabel for the message box perhaps you can use pango markup instead of changing easygui.py like so:

<big>Some Big Text</big><b>Bold Text!</b>

If pango markup isn't switched on in easygui.py then perhaps a patch is in order.

Best Regards, Martin Owens

5. anonymous Sun, 04 Mar 2007 07:57

Very well done ;-))

4. anonymous Sun, 04 Mar 2007 07:51

Tolles Video!

Macht weiter so!

Jens Kadenbach

...and the audio is louder now, too.

Video has English Subtitles now

Hi Lexi - this is a great video, well done. It is very nice to see EasyGUI and DrPython in use and everything is very clear.

Note to other viewers - the audio for this video is very quiet, you may have to turn up your speakers to hear it.

Ian.

Kudos and Thanks for Horst
