hi! nice video!

but can you make an interactive fever flash?

awsome work :)

Hi anonymous,

Button objects in Flash have a 'hit' state, which is the region of the object that defines the button. When you are editing the Button (double-click it) you will see the 'hit' state as the last frame. Anything you draw in this frame (any shapes, etc) will not be visible but will be the 'active' area for the button. To accomplish the task you inquire about, put some artwork in the hit state of the button and none of the others, this will produce an 'invisible' button.

Regards,

Aaron

great tutorial. i wanted to know if it was possible to make flash video that has invisible buttons overlaid on the video somehow, so that if i click on someone's face, something can happen, like it links to something else.

how do i save the file where in i can insert it also to my powerpoint? thanks:)

That would be super! I have several more authors interested in making Photoshop/Flash videos, it would be great to build up a whole new category.

Ian.

Thanks for the kind words, Ian. More videos to come soon, I promise ;)

Hello Aaron. I've never used Flash before so it is quite interesting to see how it works. My closest experience is with Visual Basic (years back), but you couldn't really publish those results to the web :-)

It is great that you present so clearly - typing at speed whilst talking clearly is no mean feat yet you do it very smoothly. I hope that you entrust us with more of your videos in the future!

Cheers,

Ian.
